So I'm hoping you'll all permit me to just sail into another post despite it being over a month since my last one. Oopsy. Recently infact, I haven't been very inspired by make up in the slightest. I don't know whether it's the change in weather, the end of the holidays or whether I've just got back to RCS and have been totally involved in my work. Nevertheless, I'm here now and I'm hoping to get back into it all because I remember when it used to make me very happy.
For quite a while I was using the Liz Earle skincare range and one day I ran out and grabbed a bottle of Bioderma and then realised how I'd been missing that really clean fresh feeling after you wash your face. I'm pretty hooked on micellar waters now and I've heard wonderful things about the L'Oreal one but of course it was sold out so since La Roche Posay didn't have one, I thought I'd check out Vichy. I've loved Vichy's Normaderm Exfoliating Gel Scrub for a long time, sensitive to skin and a wonder product at removing hormonal breakouts so I hoped their Normaderm 3 in 1 Micellar Solution would work wonders too.
Well, it does. I love it more than Bioderma and that is saying something since Bioderma seems to be the top dog of all micellar waters. It removes eye make up a lot better and leaves my skin feeling less dry and dehydrated which Bioderma often did. It's longevity is about the same but it is about 3 or 4 quid cheaper than Bioderma which I love. The only downside is the smell. It smells cheesy. Not a very pungent cheddar or stilton smell but a slight brie smell. I find it a bit odd but it really isn't that bad and the smell does not linger on your face at all. Have a whiff of it next time you're in Boots but it's hardly a downside for such a good product. It removes make up beautifully and I love the packaging. White and green just seem such natural colours for skincare. It is also alcohol free which I think makes it less drying!
Hope you guys enjoyed this review and let me know what posts you'd like to see. Have a 'brie-zy' day! Haha!
Take care x
